Meanwhile, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Everyday Shooter have been (re)added to the PS3 streaming library. What Premium does add this month are the previously-announced remasters of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5, Ultra Street Fighter IV and Limbo. The tier has been criticised for its monthly updates paling in comparison to Extra, and this month once again adds no 'new' emulated games. Streaming options to console and PC are also unlocked for a big chunk of the overall Plus library. The top tier, PS Plus Premium, adds hundreds more games to subscribers' libraries, through remasters, remakes, ports, streamed versions of PS3 versions, and emulated versions of PS1, PSP and PS2 games, with the PS1 and PSP emulations making their 'debut' on the service. Anime fighter Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and puzzler Hohokum provide some fun and colour if you find October a bit too spooky. Horror titles The Medium (PS5 version only) and Inside are suitable options for October, with the latter being a particularly well-acclaimed release from the creator of Limbo. Ubisoft has stated that it's aware of the technical issues plaguing Syndicate and is working to fix it. However, the Chronicles games and Syndicate won't be available to download on PS5. This month, it's AC III Remastered, AC Odyssey, the AC Chronicles trilogy – India, China and Russia – and AC Syndicate. There are also the Minecraft-esque Dragon Quest Builders duo, as well as both Dragon Quest Heroes games, which mix DQ characters and lore with Dynasty Warriors gameplay.Īs previously promised, more Assassin's Creed titles have joined the Extra line-up as part of Ubisoft+.
The latest main entry in the series is one of the best-reviewed JRPGs of the last decade, with this edition improving the frame rate and adding a wealth of content, including the ability to play the entire game in 2D like the older games, and a fully orchestral score replacing the poorly-received MIDI music.
